The OMMDR16 is an automatic chuck tapping machine, made in Italy by SerrMac International, a manufacturer with over 75 years of precision machine-tool experience since 1950. Sized for M16 threads, it brings the same fast, rigid, high-volume tapping as the rest of the MDR line to heavier fastener work.
The lead-screw chuck ("patrona") delivers true rigid tapping while a mechanical variator gives continuous speed adjustment for every tap size and material. Automatic tapping cycles run batch after batch with consistent thread quality and minimal operator attention.
Available in column or pedestal configuration and supplied with one chuck of your specification, the MDR16 is built for production shops that live on repetitive, precise tapping.

All warranty service is provided through Omni Machine Inc. with direct factory support from SerrMac International (Polcenigo, Italy). Warranty covers replacement or repair of any component found defective in material or workmanship within 12 months of delivery, labor excluded. Defects must be reported within 8 days of discovery. Warranty excludes normal wear, improper installation or use, unauthorized modification, and lack of routine maintenance. Technical support available by phone and email.
