The OMMDR12 is an automatic chuck tapping machine, made in Italy by SerrMac International, a manufacturer with over 75 years of precision machine-tool experience since 1950. It's purpose-built for fast, repeatable, high-volume tapping — the kind of continuous production where a manual tapping head can't keep up.

The lead-screw chuck ("patrona") system delivers true rigid tapping, and a mechanical variator provides continuous, infinitely adjustable speed to dial in the right rate for every tap and material. Automatic tapping cycles keep the machine feeding batch after batch with consistent thread quality and minimal operator involvement.
