Product Overview
The OMR45 is a professional drill-milling machine, made in Italy by SerrMac International, a manufacturer with more than 75 years of expertise since 1950. Unlike a plain column drill that uses a cross table only for positioning, the R45 is a genuine drill-mill: the M60×2.5 screw-anchor spindle nose lets you combine precision drilling with light milling, giving one machine the flexibility of two.
A robust 6.46" (164mm) column and heavy build make the R45 a dependable workhorse for machine shops, fabricators, and production departments that need consistent performance across mixed work. With a choice of simple variable-speed (VS), gearbox-variator (VR), or electronic (E) drive, spindle speeds match the material and cutter every time.
Standard equipment includes a 2-speed motor, manual micrometric quill feed, automatic mechanical quill feed, and integrated tool cooling. The R45E adds thread-cutting and a digital spindle speed counter, and the machine is available factory-configured Flowdrill-ready for friction drilling applications.
