The OMTCS is a heavy-duty drilling and milling machine, proudly made in Italy by SerrMac International — a manufacturer with over 75 years of building precision machine tools since 1950. When a job outgrows a standard column drill, the TCS steps up: a prismatic-column drill-mill engineered for heavy, high-precision work in production shops, tool rooms, and fabrication houses.
The prismatic column section is what sets this machine apart. Where a round-column drill flexes and chatters under a side load, the TCS's prismatic guideways and heavy 1,720 lb mass hold rigid — so you can genuinely mill on it, not just drill. That stability translates to cleaner finishes, tighter tolerances, and longer tool life on demanding operations.
Available with simple variable-speed (VS), variable-speed-with-gearbox (VR), or fully electronic (E) drive, the TCS matches the spindle range to your material and tooling. Standard automatic mechanical quill feed, micrometric manual feed, and integrated tool cooling make it production-ready out of the crate, and the TCSE variant adds depth-controlled rigid tapping.
