The OMAUTOMAX-CNC is a state-of-the-art 3-axis precision drill-milling machine, proudly made in Italy by SerrMac International, a manufacturer with over 75 years of expertise in high-quality machine tools since 1950. It's built for shops that want CNC drilling, tapping, and milling without the cost or complexity of a full machining center.
With continuously interpolated X, Y, and Z axes driven by brushless servo motors, recirculating ball screws, and a Z-axis optical scale, the Automax CNC delivers precise, repeatable results on complex hole patterns and light milling work. The heavy prismatic column and 1,786 lb mass keep it rigid and vibration-free through demanding cuts.
Operation is handled from an intuitive 7" touch screen with built-in cycles and templates for drilling, tapping, and milling — no G-code programming knowledge required. That makes it equally suited to skilled machinists and less-experienced operators, so more of the shop can run it. For continuous-cycle and rotary work, an optional MD125 CNC rotary table adds full 4th-axis capability.
Industry 4.0-ready with optional MODBUS/OPC connectivity and 2.5D/3D CAD-CAM software, the Automax CNC drops cleanly into a modern, connected production floor.
