The Acra 24"x14"x18" Vertical Machining Center is engineered for precision and durability. All guide ways are induction hardened and precision ground, ensuring long-lasting accuracy and smooth operation. The machine features a wide saddle that fully supports the worktable throughout the travel, eliminating table overhang and enhancing stability.
Precision hand scraping is employed on all mating surfaces to improve flatness and geometric accuracy. Turcite B is bonded to the sliding surfaces, with hand-scraped oil grooves for optimal lubrication and performance. High-precision, double-nut ball screws drive each axis, centered between the guide ways and anchored at both ends with angular contact thrust bearings.
