The lathe is equipped with a dynamically balanced, hardened, and precision-ground spindle supported by three precision P-Grade taper roller bearings, ensuring smooth and accurate operation.

The universal gearbox, with its oil bath lubrication and heat-treated gears, enables the lathe to handle a wide range of threading operations, including inch, metric, module, and diametrical threads. The headstock gears are made from chromium molybdenum steel, segmentation treated, and precision ground for optimal durability and precision. A forced lubrication system ensures proper lubrication of critical components.

The tailstock features a quill made from chromium molybdenum steel, with a generous 6" travel and a 2-3/8" diameter for sturdy support of workpieces.
