Why buy your Acra from Omni Machine
Acra is a known brand and you can buy one from a dozen places. Here is what is different about buying it from us.
- We are 20 miles from the warehouse. Acra Machinery is in Rancho Cucamonga. We are in Pomona. Stock machines move fast and parts do not sit on a truck for a week.
- The machine ships set up, not in pieces. DRO mounted and squared, taper attachment installed, collet closer fitted, tool post and chuck guard on. You uncrate it and level it — you do not spend three days building it.
- We rig and deliver. Los Angeles County, the Inland Empire, Orange County, San Diego and the Central Valley. Riggers we actually use, not a name off a list.
- Parts and support after the sale. Chucks, steady rests, way covers, drive belts, DRO scales and heads. Call and talk to somebody who knows the machine.
- Financing and trade-ins. Section 179 and equipment financing available. We will look at what you are replacing.
Acra machines we sell
Precision engine and gap bed lathes
From a 13″ toolroom footprint up to 65″ swing oil-country iron. Common models: 1340BV, 1440B, 1440C, 1400SVS, 1400/1600TE, 1400/1600TVS variable speed, 1500C, 1640GCY, 1700ACH, 1700TE (2″ and 2-1/2″ bore), 1700/2100TE (3″ bore), 1800/2100C, 2200/2600SCH and 2200/2600ACH, 2800/3200/3600SET, 3000FCH, 4500/5100SGT and 5900/6500SHT heavy duty.
Lathes ship standard with 3-jaw and 4-jaw chucks, steady and follow rest, coolant system, full-length splash guard, halogen light, 4-way tool holder and chuck guard. Most run 230/460V three phase; the 1400/1600TVS variable speed line is available 230V single phase, which is the one to ask about if you do not have three-phase power in the building.

Toolroom and second-operation lathes
618EVS precision toolroom lathe, ATL-618E high speed / high accuracy toolroom lathe with digital threading control, and the ATS-27EVS / ATL-27EVS high speed toolmaker's lathes. These are the machines for close-tolerance short-run work, gunsmithing and prototype shops.
Knee mills and bed-type mills
LCM-50 in step pulley or variable speed, LCTM1 step pulley and variable speed, the AM2 / AM3VL / AM3VI / AM4VL / AM4VI / AM5V / AM5AC precision vertical milling machines, the LC25VH vertical and horizontal mill, and the FBM-3VA / 5VL / 5VHL / 8VL heavy duty bed-type mills. R-8 or #30 NST spindles, hardened and ground ways, auto lube.

Acra Plus CNC mills
LCM-50 and LCTM1 knee mills with Acu-Rite MillPWR 2-axis or 3-axis CNC control, or Fagor 8055i. Precision ground ball screws, 1-micron glass scale feedback on all axes, auto lube, control installed and tested. This is the practical way into CNC for a shop that still needs a manual handle on the machine.
Surface, tool and cutter grinders
618S manual super precision, 618AH automatic, 1020AHD and 1224AHD automatic hydraulic, 1632TS NC control, and the 2440 / 2460 / 2480 HSR NC control surface grinders. Tool and cutter: ATC-40M, ATC-60M and ATC-MN2.

Saws, drills and mill/drills
Vertical bandsaws KB and KV; UE-712 / RF-712 vertical-horizontal; UE-916A, BS-250 and RF-1018 horizontal; BS-330 semi-automatic and fully automatic bandsaws. Drilling: MD-32MMF drill presses, FRD / AR radial arm drills, RF-46SF heavy duty geared head drill press, and the RF-31, RF-40 / 40N2F and RF-45 mill/drills.
DROs, tooling and options
We spec the machine the way you are going to run it. Newall NMS300, NMS800 and DP700 read-outs; Acu-Rite 203 and 303; Fagor DROs. Taper attachments with installation, lever-type 5C collet closers, 6″ through 24″ steady rests, face plates, Aloris tool post sets, quick change tool holders, micro and 4-position carriage stops, right angle heads, power draw bars, coolant systems and chip trays. Tell us the part you are making and we will tell you what you actually need.
Country of origin: Taiwan
Acra machines are built in Taiwan. If you are buying on a government, defense or aerospace contract with TAA or Buy American language attached, say so up front — Taiwan is a TAA-designated country, and we will state the country of origin in writing on your quote so your purchasing department has it on file. If a machine on your list does not qualify, we will tell you before you cut the PO, not after.

Where are Acra machines made?
Taiwan. Acra Machinery, Inc. is the U.S. importer, based in Rancho Cucamonga, California.
Do you have Acra machines in stock?
Popular lathe and mill models are usually available from dealer stock. Larger lathes, long-bed configurations and special voltages are built to order. Call us with the model and we will give you the current lead time before you commit.
Can I get a machine on single phase power?
On some models, yes — the 1400/1600TVS variable speed lathes are available in 230V single phase. For everything else we can quote a rotary phase converter or a VFD package sized to the machine. Tell us what service you have in the building.
Will you install the DRO before it ships?
Yes. DRO, taper attachment, collet closer and tool post are installed and checked before the machine leaves. It costs you less than paying a tech to do it on your floor, and the machine runs the day it lands.
Do you deliver and rig?
Throughout Southern California, yes — delivery, rigging, placement and leveling. Outside the region we ship nationwide and can coordinate a rigger at your end.
Do you sell parts for older Acra machines?
Yes. Have the model and serial number ready when you call — it is stamped on the plate on the headstock or column.
