ACRA's MT-52 Series CNC Precision Lathe Is A True 45° Slant Bed, 2″ Bar CNC Turning Center, with a proven track record in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. The construction of this machine results in increased cutter life and superior finishes. The heavy ribbed torque tube Meehanite casting is designed to withstand shock and torque. Integral box ways are hardened to a minimum of 56° hrc to at least 0.050″, and turcite-b mated surfaces. The world class spindle cartridge is direct belt driven by a Fanuc Alpha P12 high torque ac brushless six pole motor that delivers higher torque at lower rpm. Its special housing virtually eliminates vibration and thermal distortion. The quick and rugged turret is a reliable bi-directional hydraulic type with curvic coupling to allow heavy cuts.
