The Acra Automatic 3 Axis Super Precision Surface Grinder is engineered for precision and durability. Its heavy, extra-rigid castings ensure accuracy at full capacity, while the extra-wide table support provides superior rigidity and accuracy for long workpieces. The X and Z slideways are coated with "Turcite B" and precision hand-scraped for smooth, accurate movement. The wheel spindle, supported at each end by sealed duplex ball bearings, is replaceable as a cartridge for easy maintenance.
The advanced hydraulic circuit design offers vibration-free reversing motion of the table, and the table can be easily manipulated by hand wheel when the table speed is switched off. Automatic lubrication ensures that slideways are constantly lubricated whenever the machine is powered on, with a flashing light indicating any lubrication issues.
The precision ground vertical lead screw and transmission gear unit provide accurate down feed, while the automatic cross feed, driven by a precision ball screw and timing belt drive motor, ensures quick and smooth operation.
